Bettie Ricks Mitchell, 89, passed on Sunday, September 11, 2022

Funeral service 12:00 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Hunter-Odom Funeral Service, 121 S. Fairview Road, Rocky Mount, NC with the Reverend Herbert C. Scott, officiating. Burial will follow at New St. John Church Cemetery.

Visitation 1 hour prior to the service.

Service will be Live Stream via Hunter-Odom Funeral Service Website.

Dear Dennis, May God continue to take care of you and your family while grieving the loss of you mother, our sweet cousin Bettie Mae. You are now blessed to have an angel in heaven especially for you. We thank God for blessing us all with her funny sense of humor and all the wisdom she shared. What an awesome, wonderful and loving mother she was. She is smiling that beautiful smile, happy to be at peace and resting now in a much better place. We loved her as we love you.
