Obituary For Carolyn Preston Green

Carolyn Preston Green was in Fort Pierce, Florida to the (late) Mose Preston and Mary Frances Preston.

Carolyn attended the public schools of St. Lucie County, graduated from Fort Pierce Central in 1976.

Carolyn resided in Miami, Florida with her husband Woodrow Green. They were married for 40 plus years. Even through, they never had kids, they had love for others and Bandit (dog). She enjoyed her family and love having fun.

Carolyn worked at Miami Dade School Board in the cafeteria.

β€œAnd I heard a voice from heaven saying unto, me Write blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest form their labours; and their works do follow them.” (Revelations 14:13) On Sunday, September 4, 2022, in Miami, Florida in accordance with the divine will of our Heavenly Father, Carolyn rested in the arms of the savior Lord Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her father Mose Preston and sister Detra Diane Dunn.

Those left to cherish Carolyn’s loving memories are her; husband, Woodrow Green, dog, Bandit: brother Greg Preston; sisters, Grace Robinson, Eula Preston, Irene Merritt, , Cynthia (Sal) Williams; Aunt, Dorothy Washington; brother in-law Vincent Green, sister in-law, Joana Thomas; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Public visitation for Carolyn Preston Green will take place on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 1:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Riverview Memorial Park.

Although many venues have opened and the restrictions of COVID-19 have been relaxed, we at Stone Brothers Funeral Homes are still enforcing the guidelines set forth by the CDC and FDOH to protect our families and our staff. We ask that you respect this, as it could very well save your life. We also ask that you acknowledge and execute the 6 feet social distancing guidelines as well.
