Obituary For Mr. Robert Wooden, Jr.

Mr. Robert Wooden Jr. of Panama City entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 11th at home surrounded by his family. He was 90 years of age.

He was a retired electrician from GM and a veteran from the United States Army.

He leaves treasured memories with one daughter, Theodora Diming; two grandchildren, Kenyatta Wilson and Christopher Wooten and wife Erica; six great grandchildren, Kristen Bradshaw, Kalycia Diming, Aubrielle Wooden, Langsten Wooden, Judah Wooden and Noah Wooden; one sister, Eula Bell and husband Sampson; nieces, Sheila, Menica, Sheryl, Stephanie and Felecia; nephews, Sampson Jr.; brother-in-law, Bryan Clark and wife Mary Helen; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A public viewing will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 from 3-6p.m. at Battle Mortuary.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held graveside, Saturday, September 24th at 1p.m. at Hillside Cemetery with Bishop Lonnie Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow with Military Honors provided by the Ft. Rucker Honor Guards. Final arrangements have been entrusted to the Caring Staff at Battle Mortuary of Panama City.
