Donald “Donnie” Robinson was born January 17, 1949, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to the late Robert Robinson and El’Willie (Kasler) O’Neal. He entered the arms of his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

Donald was preceded in death by his sister, Bridgette Robinson. He leaves to cherish his love and memories: devoted children, Darone (Sheron) and Demeka Robinson, Tracy (Randall) Turman, Ryan Love, and Pamela Reeves; grandchildren, Daronda (Jeremy) Johnson, Bryan Robinson, ZyShawn Robinson, Zyria Martin, Darone Robinson, Jr., LaQuisha Burris and Chederria Varnado; brother, Todd Robinson; sisters, Kim and Shavonne Robinson and Cheree (William) Mathis; stepmother, Mary Robinson; devoted friends, Hazeline Hall, Deborah Batmon, and Margaret Love; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family will receive friends 5:00-6:00 pm on Thursday, September 22, 2022, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 2504 Cecil Avenue, Knoxville, TN, with funeral service to follow; Elder Joe B. Maddox, Officiant/ Pastor; Elder Danny Johnson, Eulogist.

The final resting place will be on Friday, September 23, 2022, at 10:00 am at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery (John Sevier) where full military honors and dove release will conclude.
