Shosharona Tiny Charlton-Smith

Born Shosharona S. Charlton, better known as Tiny, was born December 26, 1974, to Stephen Gordon, Sr and the late great Marietta Swinney in Freeport, Bahamas. At a young age, she move to the US with her mom and attended public schools. She graduated from Dillard High School and attended Broward College Central College studying Journalism. She was an active member of the African American Student Union at Broward College Central campus, where she spare headed fundraisers and positive advertisements for the group. She touched the hearts of many people with her love and bubbly spirit. Tiny put her education on hold to take care of her ill mother and then returned to school where she graduated with her medical assistant certification in 2010. On November 13, 2009, she married her beloved husband Dennis Smith. On Thursday, September 15, 2022, Tiny answered God’s call after fighting a long battle of pain and sickness. Tiny leaves to cherish her memories; her husband Dennis Smith, two sons: Anthworn McCullough (Jasmine), NaShon Smith of Fort Lauderdale, Stepdaughter: Chrissy Smith; Her Grandfather: Stanly Charlton; Her siblings: 3 sisters on her mother’s side, 3 sisters on her father’s and one living brother. A host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins that will miss her dearly. Because of her love, personality, and giving spirit her memory will be cherished by many special friends and godchildren.
