Mrs. Elnora Spears was born May 15, 1931, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Alford and Elon Green. She passed away September 21, 2022. Celebration of Life Services for Mrs. Spears will begin Monday, October 3, 2022, with her Public Visitation starting at 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Her Funeral Service will start promptly, 11:00 a.m. at Goolsby Mortuary, Inc., located at 1375 Jonesboro Road, SE, Atlanta, Georgia 30315. This Service will be streamed live from the funeral home’s website on the Day of the Service. Granny, even though I knew the time was coming your strength just made it seem like you would be here forever. I have no doubts that you are at peace; like you said "I'm not scared" days before that blessed day. with a smile from ear to ear now in Heaven. Now able to stand, Walk, and run if you want to; all HEALED in Jesus name. You are greatly missed already and I have to get use to you not being here, not hearing your smart remarks LOL, which were funny after the fact LOLOL. Your Sassy ways; just being Ms. Elnora as Bran would say LOL. I will miss even our disagreements, and you telling me well Missy you have a smart mouth too, and I would say well Granny I got it from you I guess we are twins. You loved us all, and cared for soooo many even when you were not at your best. Catching the bus to see about those in the hospital, making check in calls on everyone. You were a GREAT WOMAN GRANNY and I desire to have the tenacity and strength you had all the way to the end. I LOVE YOU to the moon and back as I told you often. Until we meet again, tell my Nett hello, my Dad Fuzz hello and allll the others gone on before you. You have blessed soooo many, and now it's our turn to do the same. I've had a few encounters with Ms. Nora and what stood out to me most was her love for dancing, good memory, quick wit and how she never seemed to miss a beat regarding her observations of her surroundings. I am grateful to have encountered her and I know that she will missed. My condolences to Bran and the family regarding her passing.
