Denise Ann Choate, a long-time resident of Florida and Indiana, died peacefully on Thursday, September 15, 2022. She was born on February 22, 1964 to Taylor “Tate” Jones and Junie Wiley in New Castle, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her father, Tate and brother, Darryell Jones.

Denise’s light shined so bright. Many have described her as beautiful, a great worker, a wonderful friend, kind to everyone, and the life of the party. Denise loved her friends and family. The greatest gift she ever received was to become a “Nana”. She was so proud of her kids and grandkids. She was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her mother Junie, daughter Dawna, son Michael (Season); grandchildren Lacey, Colby, Summer, Grace, Gavin, and great-grandchild Josephine; sister Donna (Bobby) and many adored nieces, nephews, cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Tate, and brother, Darryell Jones.

Per her wishes, Denise is being cremated and her ashes will be spread in all her favorite places including the ocean and around her brother’s grave site. A memorial service/celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
