Samuel C. Jones, 86 of Richmond, Virginia, died on September 23, 2022. Surviving are his son, Alfred T. Jackson (Lynn), two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brother, Dr. Earl Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and treasured friends. His memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 11 am, at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., Richmond, Virginia, where Rev. Rodney Waller is officiating.
