Sarah Laverne Mitchell 77, died Sunday, September 25, 2022. Funeral service will be 11 A.M. Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Freedom Church, 2797 Thomasville Road with burial at Greenwood Cemetery. Viewing will be from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. Friday, October 7, 2022 at Strong & Jones Funeral Home. Survivors include four sons, Willie R. Mitchell Jr. (Daisy), Jerry Mitchell (Rosalyn), Teronis Mitchell and Robert Mitchell (Connie); one daughter, Valeria Bell; three brothers, two sisters, 21 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other family members and friends.
