Mr. Willie Fred Thomas was born July 24, 1940, in Ranburne, Alabama to the late Roscoe and Rosetta Thomas. He passed away September 20, 2022. Celebration of Life Services for Mr. Thomas will begin Friday, September 30, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Goolsby Mortuary, Inc., located at 1375 Jonesboro Road, SE, Atlanta, Georgia 30315. His Funeral Service will be held October 1, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Mount Zion Second Baptist Church located at 137 Boulevard, NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30312. I will miss the visits with Fred. Every time I walked down the street he was on his front porch and ready to chat. He was always upbeat and would never miss an opportunity to kid me about cooking. This was a joke about me picking up food at the restaurant and claiming to be my own cooking. You will always be in the hearts of your neighbors on Brooks Ave.
