Funeral service for Haedyne Wilson, 12, of Opelika, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church, 650 Jeter Avenue, Opelika, AL 36801 with interment in Garden Hills Cemetery, Reverend Clifford E. Jones will officiate.

Haedyne, who passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at her home in Opelika, AL, was born April 1, 2010 in Lee County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, September 30, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required).

She leaves to cherish her memory: her mother, Beonka Wilson of Opelika, AL; maternal grandmother “Nana”, Diahonna Wilson (Tyrone Milford) of Opelika, AL; paternal grandfather, Dwayne (Malinda) Richardson of Opelika, AL; maternal great-grandmother “Granny” Barbara Wilson of Opelika, AL; one aunt, Queenessa Wilson of Opelika, AL; two uncles, Dwayne Richardson, Jr. and Devhin Wilson both of Opelika, AL; three great-aunts, Melissa Wilson, Colleen (Reverend Robert) Strickland and Vanessa (Reverend Johnny) Nelms all of Opelika, AL; four great-uncles, Jacques Wallace, Christopher Wilson both of Opelika, AL, Ken (Mechelle) Wilson of Jonesboro, GA and Timothy (Kendra) Wilson of Hampton, GA; four special cousin, Brooklynne Tolbert, Ayson Richardson, Addison Richardson and McKenzie Wilson; a host of other relatives, schoolmates, teachers and friends.
