Mr. Clifford Jackson, 76, of Oxford, GA passed Friday, September 30, 2022 in Covington, GA.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. EST, Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, Columbus, GA with Rev. James Gant, pastor, officiating. Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday, October 7, 2022 from 2-5 p.m. EST.

Mr. Clifford Jackson was born on July 26, 1946 in Seale, Alabama to Lawrence and Addie Bell Jackson. Clifford graduated from Oliver High School.

He gave his life to Christ at an early age and attended Mt. Hebron Baptist Church, where he became a member. He later moved his membership to Corinth Missionary Baptist Church, in Columbus, GA where he served as a faithful member and on the kitchen committee. He was famous for his Upside Down 7 Up Cake.

Clifford worked at Hughston Medical Clinic for 25 plus years until his retirement. He had a great love for sports, especially his Alabama Football team. "Roll Tide" His hobbies included cooking, playing the piano and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories his son, Roderick Jackson (Sue) of Henderson, KY; daughter, Eleanor Ramey (Eric) of Atlanta, GA; four grandchildren, LaDerius Jackson of Columbus, GA, Tya, Keylan and Camari Jackson all of Henderson, KY; a long-time friend and brother, Calvin Walker along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
