Mr. Otis Edwards of Marianna, the Pope Chapel Community, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 1st in the River Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 77 years of age.

Otis was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Ronald Wiggins.

Treasured memories will forever remain with three children, Mamie Laniece Edwards, Shannon Edwards and Otis B. Edwards all of Akron, Ohio; two brothers, Richard Edwards, Jr. and Micah Edwards both of Marianna, Florida; two sisters, Debra Edwards and Gwendolyn Chancelor; and a host of grands. nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Peoples Funeral Home Chapel. The body will lie in state at the chapel from 9:00 am until service time at 11:00 am

Public viewing will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2022, from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the funeral home chapel.
