She was a retired educator with the Bay County School System.
Treasured memories will forever remain with two daughters, Bertha Shawnette Gibbs of New York City, NY and Shana Finney of Atlanta, Georgia; two sons, Charles Bellamy of Panama City, FL and Ata Sardis of Atlanta, Georgia; three sisters, Dorothy Brown of Bradenton, FL Shirley Smith and husband Dennis and Leetoria Patten and husband Sterling both of Panama City, FL; two brothers, Adrid Johnson of Panama City, FL and Don Edward and wife Peggy of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren, Kenneth Hurd of Atlanta, Georgia, Quentin Bellamy of Panama City, FL, Travarn Bell and Nathaniel Egegbara both of New York City, NY and Joel Ivy; one aunt, Ailer Hall of Panama City, FL; two uncles, Willie Hall and wife Maretha of Malone, FL and David McCarter, Sr. of Bradenton, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A public viewing will be held Friday, October 7th from 3-6p.m. at Battle Mortuary Chapel in Panama City.
A Homegoing Celebration will be held Saturday, October 8th at 10:00 a.m. in the Battle Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Jessica Rivers-Muse and Pastor Pernell Smith, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Kent-Forest Lawn Cemetery with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Battle Mortuary in Panama City, FL.
