Obituary For Kelsey Smith
Kelsey Smith, 24, passed on September 27th, 2022. Services will be held Saturday, October 8th, 2022, 11AM, at New Jerusalem Primitive Baptist Church, 777 Northwest 85th Street Miami, Florida 33150.
Visitation will be Friday, October 7th, 2022 from 12PM to 8PM at Wright and Young Funeral Home, 15332 NW 7th Avenue, Miami, Florida 33169.

Forgive me if I struggle with my words, but I'm flooded with tears in this moment. After 10 years of having my keepsakes packed away I just recently found the time and began to sort through them. Amongst the many great memories I stumbled across a souvenir program from one of your many recitals. At that time I had no idea that you were no longer physically with us. Ray and I recanted a few memories and I thought,I miss those days, and how you two were the only reason I could get through a Harry Potter film and actually enjoy it...I also thought how you both were now thriving young adults and wish we could all reconnect and fast forward 6 days later I'm up scrolling my timeline to see what as left me overwhelmed with sorrow. Sweet and beautiful is how I'll always remember you. My heart truly weeps.

We talked about our meeting for years afterwards, and how funny it was that we became friends. Hello my dear Kelsey, I was so shocked by the news of your passing in which I found out today while driving. I still have your college graduation picture in the studio on a piece of vintage luggage. Jaimee was really upset today because she vowed that you would excel no matter what. And you did by fighting through the issues at PVA. And then you went to George Mason and set the world on fire.
