Stacey R. Baker, 53, of Phenix City, AL died Tuesday, October 4, 2022 in Phenix City, AL.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. EST, Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL with Pastor Charlie L. Sanders, Jr., pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Phenix City, AL. Visitation is Friday, October 14, 2022 from 11-5 p.m. EST.

Ms. Stacey Rena’e Baker was born on October 22, 1968 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Earnest Baker and the late Lillie Pearl Reese Baker. At the tender age of 18, she lost her father in death and she was raised by her loving and caring mother, the late Lillie Pearl Reese Baker.

Stacey accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age at Phillips Temple C.M.E Church where she sang in the Junior Choir, served on the Missionary Board and as a Treasurer.

She worked in the funeral industry for many years but ceased after 32 years. She worked for East Alabama Mental Health up until her passing.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Victor Lavalle Ingersoll and to this union one child was born. Later, she met and married Algery Lavelt Hall and to this union one child was born.

She was proceeded in death by three siblings.

Stacey assisted in the nurturing and growth of many children including her sons, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Stacey’s love will forever live in the lives of her devoted children, Victor Jacobi Ingersoll and Algery London Hall; three siblings, Charlestine “Judy” Moore, Kelvin Earnest (Beneica Baker) Baker and Patrick Baker; one sister- in- love, Melanie Ezekiel; some special nieces and nephews, Shelia M. Moore, Adriane M. (Shawn) Moore, Jaquetta L. Willamson, Yasmine M. Baker, Jayceon M. Garvin, Ayanna D. Johnson, Brenda S. Johnson and an array of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and countless caring friends.
