Obituary For Curtis Danford

Mr. Curtis Danford, 59, of US 1 Bypass, Wadley, GA departed this life Monday, October 3, 2022 at an Augusta Hospital. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Blount Chapel AME Cemetery, Bartow GA. Public viewing will be held Friday, October 7, 2022 from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. Curtis was born October 12, 1962 in Jefferson County to the parentage of the late Laclinton Freeman and Marion Danford. Curtis attended the Jefferson County School System and was employed at Battle Lumber Company for over twenty-three years. At an early age he joined the Blount Chapel AME Church where and served faithfully as one of God's devoted servants as an Ordained Stewart for over twenty years. He truly bought laughter to everyone he came in contact with. He is preceded in death by his parents. His laughter and humor will forever be etched hearts and minds of his siblings: David Daniel (Jackie) Danford, Margaret Inez (Jeff) Laster, Wadley, GA, Charles Freeman, Charlotte, N.C., Dwight Roberson, Philadelphia, PA, Mary Ann Freeman, Swainsboro, GA, Lavon Ricks, Augusta, GA and Tony Burke, West Virginia; aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
