Funeral service for Kellett Brooks, 52, will be at 12:00 noon (EST), Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, 1111 E. 10th Street, West Point, GA 31833 with interment in Marseilles Cemetery, Reverend W.T. Edmonson, Pastor, Elder Carterris Tucker, Eulogist.

Mr. Brooks, who passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022 at the East Alabama Medical Center-Lanier in Valley, Alabama, was born July 19, 1970 in Chambers County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, October 7, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (EST) (Facial covering is required).

He leaves to cherish his memory: fiancée, LaToura Truitt of Lanett, AL; two children, Katasha (Terrence) Ferrell-Avery of Lanett, AL and Kellesha Brooks of West Point, GA; parents, Lonnie Brooks of Lanett, AL and Bettye (John) Tyner of West Point, GA; five grandchildren, Quintavious Roberts, Kamiriyah Ferrell, Kamariyon Ferrell, Kamille Motley and Kobe Motley; one sister, Katrista (Tyrone) Brooks-Gray of LaGrange, GA; two brothers, Keith Brooks of LaGrange, GA and Kyle (Deborah) Brooks of West Point, GA; two uncles, Claude Brooks of Atlanta, GA and Benjamin (Diana) Brooks of Pensacola, FL; seven aunts, Mary Jean Brooks of Atlanta, GA, Ann Brooks of Lanett, AL, Nancy (Preston) Steele of Opelika, AL, Minnie Kate Brooks of Brooklyn, NY, Channie (John) Carlile, Jessie (Bill) Wright both of Columbus, GA and Dee Dee (Calvin) Williams of West Point, GA; five nephews as sons, Karllamonte Brooks, LaDarius Truitt, Vatavius Shealey, Terrance (LaTasha) Drew and Luther Houston; four nieces as daughters, Kiana Brooks, Cassie Shealey, Andre’ya Gilliam and Takeya Sands; godparents, Rebecca Sands and Katie Shealey; two godsons, Kiovanni Truitt and Terrance (Libya) Sands; two goddaughters, Mekaela Williams and Alyssa Trimble; special pet dog, Rocko Brooks; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends he really loved as his brothers and sisters, especially his Interface co-workers. He was such a lovable person and impacted so many lives. We will all miss him dearly.
