Whereas, the earth is the LORD's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. It has pleased God after 89 years to call from among us a life well lived, into eternal rest:

Martha Ruth Owens Gray was born March 15,1933 to the late Reverend J.C. and Rosa Lee Owens in Valdosta, GA. Martha was a member of The Victory Church Pastor Jay Williams presides as Pastor. Martha served as business coordinator for Ronnie Gray Construction for over 40 years, 22 years at Moody Air Force Base as a short line cook, and she worked at the Neighborhood Service Center in Valdosta Georgia and was adamant about helping anyone she could. She loved cooking for her family, farming, planting vegetables and flowers to admire their beauty.

Martha Ruth Owens Gray was preceded in Death by her parents, Reverend J.C. and Rosa Lee Owens; two sisters, Minnie Calhoun and Annie Callum, six brothers, Johnnie Owens James Owens, Willie Owens, Jimmy Owens, Rufus Owens, Jerome Owens.

Martha Ruth Owens Gray leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband of 45 years, Ronnie Lee Gray; seven children, Annie Wright, Melvin "Anthony" Wright (Donna), Bennie Wright (Bobbie), Christine Sanford (Anthony), Diane Ratliff (Ottie), Haywood Wright (Rochelle), Curtis Wright; Of the seven children three served their country in the military, two nurses, one police officer and one full-time homemaker. As well as her brothers; Lessie Owens (Lila) and Edward Lee Owens (Chrisine).

Mrs. Martha Ruth Gray of Hahira Georgia transitioned into the great by and by on Wednesday, October 05, 2022.

Celebration Services of a Precious Life Live will be celebrated by family and friends on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 11:00 AM from the Union Cathedral - 1050 East Hill Avenue Valdosta, Georgia.

Eulogist Pastor Jimmy "Jay" Williams, Bishop Wade S. McCrae, Pastor. Burial will follow in the Rocky Hill Church Cemetery.
