On Saturday, October 1, 2022, Tessie was called home. She joins her late grandfather and grandmother, Manuel and Smithie McKenzie, uncles, and aunts.
Those left to cherish her memories include her mother: Artessie Waight of Fort Pierce, FL; brother: Floyd Sears, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; sisters: Bridget Waight and Dessiree(Robert)Wiley; children: Cornelius Sears, Sr. of Tampa, FL, Melvin Williams III of Orlando, FL, Marcus Williams of Bartow, FL, Cornella Sears, and Shaquille Williams of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren: Cornelius Sears, Jr., Cornell Sears, Amella Rivers, Te’anaina Rivers, Te’nyhia Rivers, Travis Bradley, Ari Williams, and Malachi Williams; aunts: Nettie Martin and Evelyn McKenzie both of Fort Pierce, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and sorrowing friends who will miss her dearly.
Public visitation for Tessie Ann Sears will take place on Friday, October 7, 2022 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
