Obituary For Brenda Rosetta Taylor

Mrs. Brenda R. Taylor, 72, of Elizabethtown, passed away on October 7, 2022, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown.

Mrs. Taylor was a native of Glendale, KY and the daughter of the late Charles and Mirtie Wells. She was a member of Little Zion Baptist Church and retired from E'town Sportswear as a seamstress.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, John Edward; sisters Jean Ditto, Sarah Moore, Vita Wells, Lula Wells, Ella Ree Wells and Jane Rose Wells, as well as, one brother, Mose Wells.

She is survived by one son, Freddie Wells (Kimberly) of Denver, CO; one daughter, Dida Jane Wells (Guyophus Harney) of Indianapolis, IN; three brothers, David Wells (Bobbie) of Elizabethtown, KY, Charles Wells (Amanda) of Lawton, OK and Leon Wells of North Chesterfield, VA; two sisters, Fanny Wells of Elizabethtown, KY and Wanda Holmes of Phoenix, AZ; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral service is 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am at Percell & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Shayne Stockton officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
