Rev. Evans retired from Philip Morris in Concord, NC where he worked as an electronics Technician. He served in the military as a member of the United States Air Force and served on the first town council and as zoning inspector of Kingstown, NC for two terms.
Rev. Evans was preceded in death by his parents, his father and mother-in-law Rev. Paul Ramseur, Sr., and Marion Ramseur, granddaughter Trinity B Evans, and brother-in-law Paul Ramseur, Jr. Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 47 years, Min Mary Ramseur Evans, son Rev. Bryan L Evans (Rachel), daughter, Kansas Evans, grandson Malik Evans, and granddaughter, Serenity Evans all of Kingstown, NC.
Also four sisters, Abigale Martin of Jacksonville, Fl., Angelia Evans and Deborah Evans both of Shelby, NC, and Brenda Burns (Homer) of Clinton, MD; two brothers, Jerome Evans ( Jacqueline) of Capital Heights, MD and Duke Evans (Ettaly) of Tampa Bay, Fl., an aunt and uncle, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews..
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Ramseur Baptist Church. The service will be livestreamed starting at 10:45 AM from the Enloe Mortuary Face Book page. Burial will take place at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until 11:00 AM at the church.
