Bettie Elizabeth Cooper, 94, of Richmond, went to sleep in death on October 8, 2022. She was preceded in death by her son, Cleveland Cooper III; father, Harvey Boyers; mother and stepfather, Lucy and Frank Anderson, Sr. and brother, Harvey P. Boyers. Surviving are her daughter, Jane C. Johnson; four granddaughters, Cindy Johnson-Anderson, Julie Moore, Lori Smith and Kelly Johnson-Crowder; eight great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren, three sisters, Beatrice Brown, Lennie Thornton and Franceno Diggs; brother, Hamp Anderson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, October 19 from 4 to 7 p.m. in Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Memorial services will be held 5 p.m. Friday, October 21 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2737 Hungary Spring Road and where remains will be viewed from 3:30 p.m. until the service hour.
