Joseph Roger “Porky” Porcarelli, 97, passed away peacefully at the New Mexico State Veteran’s Home on October 7, 2022. Joe was born in Elkhart, Indiana to Joseph and Letitia Berdice Porcarelli on June 8, 1925.

He was a proud veteran of the US Army, having served during WWII, where he was awarded a Silver Star for valor. Porky enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing cribbage and was a barber for many years. He leaves behind 5 children; 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and a lifetime of friends and extended family.

Cremation has taken place and Mr. Porcarelli will be laid to rest at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Monday, November 14, 2022 at 11:00 A.M.
