Obituary For Mr.Calvin Adams

Mr. Calvin Adams 84, of Unadilla GA entered into eternal rest on Monday October 10, 2022.

Funeral Services for Mr. Calvin Adams 84, of Unadilla GA will be Wednesday October 19, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Little Poplar Springs Baptist Church Byromville GA. Interment Church Cemetery.

Calvin “Cowboy” Adams, age 84, was born November 8, 1937, to the late Artis Sr. and Mae Ellen Adams. Residing in Byromville, GA where he attended Dooly County Public Schools. Mr. Adams was a member of Little Poplar Springs Baptist Church where he praised, worshiped, and fellowshipped. Mr. Adams enjoyed gardening, fishing, wrestling, and small talk. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Artis Adams Jr., Catherine A. Lewis, Chester Adams, George “Man” Adams, Mary Adams, Mildred Scott, Willie “Bud” Adams, and Willie J. Adams. He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his daughters, Virginia Adams and Linda Adams of Macon, GA; The mother of his children Pauline F. Adams of Macon, GA; Grandchildren, Jade Gibson of Acworth, GA and Chastity (Nigel) Middleton-Sams of Macon, GA; great-grandchildren Lauren Hollingshed, Addison Sams, Madison Sams and great-great grandson Kaison Hoges, all of Macon, GA; one brother, Thomas J. Adams of Byromville, GA; four sisters, Pastor Willie-Mae Holmes of Ideal, GA, Martha Howell of Warner Robins, GA, Lucille Caldwell of Unadilla, GA, Mary (Joseph) R. Hill of Cleveland Ohio; and a host of nieces and nephews.

My dad, I've seen how GOD changed you into a different dad. I will tell all who will listen how I've seen you change from a then to a now. There will be no more phone calls at 3 am asking me how I'm doing. There will be no more phone calls at 5 a.m. asking me how I'm doing. You and me always made sure we talked everyday and now it will be just me and not a you. I hope that you know that regardless of the pass what was shared the change did come, GOD allowed us to know each other again and to make peace with one another. I will always love you. I'm so glad that you were able to know that. I will miss you telling me that you appreciate me, I will miss you asking about the entire family, I will miss our fishing days, I will miss going out to eat, I will miss watching your favorite tv show the wrestling I will miss taking walks outside and you playing with your great grand children. I will miss you calling me saying your tv will not come on thinking I can fix everything. I am so glad I did my best in your life. My dad, You left me before I got there. But we always said , whatever happens it will happen we will let GOD handle it. Rest now daddy. No more worries. Until we meet again. I know you were a change man in CHRIST.
