Obituary For Sister Teretha Broxton

Ms. Teretha Coachman Broxton of Panama City entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 10th at the Saint Andrews Bay Skilled Nursing Facility. She was 70 years of age.

She was a native of Bay County where she attended and graduated from the public school system. She went on to gain employment with the school system and later retired as a Paraprofessional.

Teretha leaves to treasure her memories: one daughter, Maria Greene of Panama City, Florida; one sister, Kathy Thompson of Panama City, Florida; two nieces, Alisha Foster and Courtney Thompson of both Newark, New Jersey; one nephew, Archie Foster of Panama City, Florida; two great nieces, Janasia Foster-Johnson and husband Deandre of Panama City, Florida and Sajada Parker of Newark, New Jersey; one great nephew, Nyโ€™reun Foster of Panama City, Florida; one great-great nephew, Loyal Johnson; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be Friday, October 21st from 3-6p.m. at Battle Mortuary.

A Homegoing Celebration will be Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, located at 715 North Cove Blvd, Panama City where Dr. Jesse Nelson is pastor and Pastor Dwight Woods officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation with all arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Battle Mortuary of Panama.
