Public viewing for Mrs. Lester will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Gardenview Funeral Chapel. A homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Springfield Baptist Church, Athens, GA. Interment will follow in the East Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her profound memories a husband Calvin Lester (of Athens, GA); her loving and devoted children, Deborah Hill Watkins (of Athens, GA), Stacey Johnson (of Phoenix, AZ), Jeffery "Big Sam" Henson (of Athens, GA); her siblings Henry "Grady" Hill (of Athens, GA), Pauline Hill (of Athens, GA), and Nancy Hill Sims (of Athens, GA);11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
