Memorial service is 1:00 PM, Sunday, October 23, 2022 at Burning Bush United Holy Church, 280 Bailey Lane, Vanceboro, NC.

He is survived by his mother, Katrina Nelson of Indianapolis, IN; father, Rodney Best of Ayden, NC; brother, Rodney "R J" Nelson; sister, Trinita Nelson; maternal grandmother, Zoretta Hudson, Durham.
