A Celebration of life for Mr. Ray Morris Jr. will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, 2:30 p.m. at Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church, 604 N. Valrico Road, Valrico, Florida 33594. Interment will follow at Limona Cemetery, 1698 Limona Road, Brandon, Florida 33510.

Ray Anthoney Morris Jr, also known to his family as Ray-Ray, and his friends as RayBandz, On Oct 1, 2022, at just 24 years old life was tragically cut short due to the destructive purpose of the enemy. In spite of being immersed in such a broken world, Ray maintained a posture of love and was a friend and a peacekeeper to all. Before Ray Jr. was even born, he was destined to be extraordinary. Born preterm Aug 7, 1998, at 34 weeks to two teenage parents, Ray Morris Sr. and Taina Martinez from the inner city of New York with no resources and/or plans had the odds against him, but from early on Ray had an extra measure of light in him. Ray was born in the Bronx, NY, but called many places home including, Hawaii, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, and California as a child of a US Army soldier. He walked by 9 months and ran by 10 months, Ray was incredible. He taught himself to be an extraordinary gymnast, dancer, and musician. From a young age till the moment he passed away everywhere Ray went he made friends and brought an extra measure of light that he radiated through his joy of life. Ray lived 6 yrs. in Florida where he Graduated high school. In 2018 he later migrated to San Diego, Ca. with a dream to be a musical artist, but during his journey, his purpose was bigger than just making music, he used his passion for music to unite many, and through that, he helped hundreds during their season of homeless, brokenness and violence. Ray launched his clothing line Kill4Me, in 2020 and continued to make music. Ray was an artist, an athlete, a dancer, a musician, and an entrepreneur, but to his mother, Taina he was and will always be her baby. Ray leaves behind His father, Ray Morris Sr; His Mother, Taina Jordan, and his stepfather, Charles Jordan; his siblings, Lianna Morris, Sheala Jordan, Eliorah Jordan, Charles Jordan Jr, and Jasmine Morris; his great-grandmother Maria Martinez; his grandmother, Felicita Cruz and Beverly Morris; His favorite uncle and Aunt Giovanni Martinez and Bianca Martinez; his many Uncles; His Aunts and more. He also leaves many who called him brother and friend. He will be missed beyond words. “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart…”Jeremiah 1:5

Viewing will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 6-8 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Services, 3822 E. 7th Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33605 and Saturday, 30 minutes prior to service.
