Funeral service for Carolyn Woods, 61, of Auburn, AL, will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 135 Townsend Road, Auburn, AL 36830 with interment in the church cemetery, Reverend Chester Levett will officiate.

Mrs. Woods, who passed away Monday, October 17, 2022 at her home in Auburn, Alabama, was born August 7, 1961 in Macon County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Friday, October 21, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required).

Mrs. Woods will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the service.

She leaves to cherish her memory: husband, Ocie Woods of Auburn, AL; one daughter, Quintina Hunter of Opelika, AL; two step-daughters, Wendy (Deon) Drake of Biloxi, MS and Sonja Mason (Vyron) of Montgomery, AL; mother, Willie Mae Felton of Auburn, AL; five sisters, Betty Felton (Clifton Ogletree), Charlie Mae Felton (Mark Perry), Wanda (James) Gainwell, Belinda Martin all of Auburn, AL and Emma Gilmore of Mt. Dora, FL; one brother, Charles (Bobbie) Gilmore of El Paso, TX; three grandchildren, Shamya Hunter, Dasia Hunter and Darrick Hunter, Jr.; two great grandchildren, Amari Chase Pridgeon and Autumn Hunter; eight aunts, Johnnie Mae Cannon, Portia Thomas, Dora Bozeman all of Opelika, AL, Carrie (Liss) Harper of Cambria Heights, NY, Sallie Briggs of Jamaica, NY, Lula Felton of Atlanta, GA, Evaline Felton and Apostle Helen Felton both of Auburn, AL; one uncle, Tommy Lee Cannon of Columbus, GA; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Woods; one sister-in-law, Mary Felton; one brother-in-law, Preston Torbert of Auburn, AL; a dedicated caregiver, Clara Mitchell of Opelika, AL; a faithful friend, Mary Pitts of Loachapoka, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
