Homegoing Services for Mr. Howard Banks, Jr., will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022, 11:00 A.M. at Greater New Hope Baptist Church, 815 Fox Street, Atlanta, GA., with remains placed in repose at 9:30 A.M. Reverend Darrell Edwards, Pastor, Reverend Cornelius George, Officiating. Interment, South-View Cemetery, Atlanta, GA.

There are many left to cherish wonderful memories of his life, his son, Cortez Robinson, Sr. (Akyndra), and two daughters, Erica and Jessica Smith; grandchildren, Cortez Jr., Ja’nya, King, JaKobi Nadia, Nia, Neko, Ryan, Saint, and Tyson; his mother, Helen Cainion; his siblings, Sharon Starks, Gigi Banks, Michael Banks, Sr., Katrina Thomas (Russ), and Nina Cater (Allen); a very special friend, Lucille Garrett; a life-long friend, Lisa Smith; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends. Preceding him in death are his father, Howard Banks, Sr., and his brother, Edward Banks, Sr. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence Saturday, at 10:00 A.M.
