Mrs. Annie Pearl Lawson Jackson died peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, October 21, 2022, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist High Point Medical Center. She was born on May 5, 1928, to the late Daniel Lawson and Saluda Moore Lawson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ben Jackson; two brothers, Clarence Lawson, and Thaddeus Lawson; five sisters, Florence Lawson, Alma Lawson, Sarah Crawford, Lottie Bowie, and Irene Ingram.

Mrs. Jackson attended William Penn High School and graduated from GTCC with her CNA credentials. She retired from Wesleyan Arms Nursing Home, Silver Knit Hosiery Mill, and Private Home Healthcare. She was such a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church for over 70 years. She was a mother of the church and was a member of Missionary #1. She was also a member of Burns Hill Sympathy Club for many years as the secretary. She had a passion for the outdoors. She was a great cook and loved to cook for her family.

Those left to cherish her memory are two children, Annie Marie (John) Crawford and Daniel (Pamela) Thompson of High Point, NC; four grandchildren, Stacey Crawford, Jada Crawford-Eller, Renika McDonald Garcia, and Shanika McDonald of High Point, NC; five great-grandchildren, Brea Eller, Nadacia Garcia, Xavier McDonald, Amya McDonald, Ryan Eller, all of High Point, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:30 p.m. until 1:00 p.m.
