OBITUARY:

Walter Earl Williams was born on March 29, 1975, to the proud parents of Johnnie Davis and Tishia Williams.

Walter accepted Christ at an early age and joined Trinity M.B. Church, Lexington, MS and remained a member until God called him home on October 22, 2022.

Walter attended J.J. McClain High School where he graduated in 1993. After graduation, he attended Mississippi Valley State University. Over the years, Walter developed a passion for music, Southern Soul Blues, and became one of Holmes County disc jockey, "DJ Waltbabylove".

Walter had employment at numerous of places, I will on name a few: Fred's, Durant Electric, Robert's Cabinet Co., Stevens Transport, Hudspeth Regional Center, Canton Manor, Laidlaw Educational Service, Hackbarth Delivery Service, and Foremost Dairy.

His father, Johnnie Davis (2016), two brothers, Christopher (Big D) Williams (2015) and Johnnie Davis, Jr. (2019) two best friends Jeffrey Blue (2021) and Alphonzo (Big Money) Greer (2021) proceeded him in death.

Walter leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother, Tishia Williams of Lexington, five dear sisters: Debra Davis-Brown, Pamela Davis, Katherine Davis of Harvey, IL, Diane Fleming-Coker of Dallas, TX and Rebecca Garrison of Chicago, IL. One close God-sister, Penny Malone of Kosciusko, MS; One close brother Johnny (Jasmine) Williams of Lexington, MS. Nine wonderful aunts: Doris Chavers of Oak Park, IL; Josie Mae Williams, Dorothy Ann Williams, Mary Ann Barton, all of Chicago, IL, Ida Mae Jordan, Dell Stroud, Von Stroud, Ann Stroud, Bettie Stroud all of Lexington, MS; a special friend who loved him dearly Sheila Forrest of Lexington, MS and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
