Obituary For Mr. Christopher Alexander Bryant

Christopher Alexander Bryant, known to most as Al2Smooth was born June 19th, 1986, in Landstuhl, Germany to the parents of the late Samantha Lynn Bryant and Zachary Jerome Bryant. He was a world traveler at a young age. He traveled from Germany to Arizona to Japan, finally settling in Georgia. Christopher continued his education in the States, graduating from Cross Creek Highschool, in Augusta, Georgia in 2006. After graduating Highschool, Christopher became a Marine JROTC volunteer at Butler High School training cadets. Christopher loved life, he never met a stranger that he didn’t connect with. He enjoyed helping others and encouraging all. Christopher was a kidney warrior, deciding that “Disability Is Not Inability, All You Have To Do Is Try”. To encourage others, Christopher began his mountain biking career. He and his mountain bike, Dene, hit the trails traveling all over from Atlanta to Houston capturing heartening moments to share on his YouTube channel (@al2smooth The Mountain Biker). Christopher was a member of the One-Love Cycling Community and could often be seen sporting their biker gear and new sets. Christopher was employed at Chain Reaction, as an expert bike repairman, and he gave tours of the Augusta area with Bike-Bike Baby. Christopher was an entrepreneur, DJ’ing several clubs in downtown Augusta and comedy shows for local artists. Christopher entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 25th, 2022. He leaves to cherish his memories his family who loved him. He is preceded by his mother, Samantha Bryant. He is survived by his father, Zachary Bryant, and two sisters Amanda and Breanna Bryant; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends, and cycling community. Christopher will be remembered by many as the one who could light up the room with his smile, one who would help anyone in need, no matter what it was, and be a listening ear and offer his words of encouragement saying, "MAKE IT A GREAT DAY GOOD HUMANS!”

Viewing will be held Friday, October 28, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 pm at the mortuary.

Graveside services will be Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 12:00 noon at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta, Georgia.

Alex was a member of The Black Cyclist, a friend, and a brother on the journey of chronic health, but most of all he was my brother in Christ. His loss is felt throughout God's kingdom. Rest brother, I will see you soon. Dr Presley (friend, cyclist, health warrior)

I met and got to know Alex while at BHS. I was a senior and he was a freshman. I wanted to go to the Military Ball because I had never been and Alex invited me as his date and bragged because he had a senior as his date lol.
