Obituary For John Wesley Walker

John Wesley Walker Sr was born in 1940 to John Thomas Walker and Laura Mae Spear Walker Collier. The oldest son of 15 siblings three them deceased ; Annie Ruth, Betty Jean, Clarence Edward, and Mattie Cee he is survived by 10 sisters and brothers including Walter Walker, Charlie Walker, Larry Walker, Lois Strodwick, Terry Walker, and Eddie Collier, Nattie Walker, Jewel Sullivan, Lee Otis Walker , Shirley Paige. In 1964, John Walker married Earnestine Davis, the two are survived by Ronald Walker, Angela Walker, John Walker Jr, Alvin Walker, Calvin Walker and Shawanda Walker. He is also survived by 16 grandkids; Khadija Murphy, Bryant Murphy, Leonard Walker, John Wesley Walker III, Cody Walker, Virgis Walker, Terrence Hicks, Phenecia Anderson, Brianna Allen, Calvin Walker Jr, Daphne Walker, Tanisha Walker, Keidra Hicks, Keldra Hicks, and Jairus Walker. He also has a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom he held dear to his heart. During his life, John Walker enjoyed hunting, farming, fising, his cars and his favorite Westerns Movies on the weekends. He retired as a foreman, from Lamar County after 30+ years of service with 2nd grade education. He had the honor of having a Soccer field named after him as well. He was a provider, a father, a grandfather, and a brother. He departed this earth at the age of 81.
