In addition to her parents, “Pat” as she was affectionately called was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy E. Breedlove, and Charlie Barksdale; and one son, Vincent “Che” Breedlove; and one brother, Hayes Stockton.
“Pat” was a member of First Baptist Church E. Martinsville where she served on the Willing Workers Committee, Hospitality Committee, and an Usher. She retired after many years of service from Hanes Brand. “Pat” was a graduate of Albert Harris High School.
Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Colleen Breedlove of Philadelphia, PA; two sons, Timothy Breedlove of Martinsville, VA, and Christopher (Delia) Breedlove of Dallas, TX; one granddaughter, Christiana Breedlove of Dallas, TX; two sisters, Connie Deering of Martinsville, VA, and Irma Delois Hairston of Bassett, VA; one aunt, Rebecca Neblett of Martinsville, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A visitation service will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022, at 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 1043 E. Church St., Martinsville with Pastor Charles Whitfield, Eulogist. Burial will follow at Carver Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Hairston Funeral Home between the hours of 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. In accordance with the CDC, a face covering, and social distancing is required. Other times, the family will be receiving friends at the home, 73, Shady Ln., Martinsville. The family ask that you observe all CDC guidelines when visiting the home.
