Graveside service for Cathy Houston, 56, of Opelika, AL, will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, County Road 28, Lafayette, AL 36862, Reverend Calvin Marshall will officiate.

Mrs. Houston, who passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at her home in Opelika, Alabama, was born November 21, 1965 in Chambers County, Alabama.

Public viewing will be Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Facial covering is required).

She leaves to cherish her memory: three children, Lamarquis Beaty (Lillie Maddox), Emmanuel Beaty and Cordero (Kaneesha) Houston of Salem, AL; three grandchildren, C’Nylah Houston, Karmyn Houston and Cordero Houston, Jr.; three sisters, Geraldine (Mose) Todd of Opelika, AL, Hurley (John) Ray and Ocie Turner both of Lafayette, AL; three brothers, Jerome (Jeanette) Giddens, Walter (Barbara) Beaty of Lafayette, AL and Tommy Beaty of Opelika, AL; one aunt, Carrie Henderson of Lafayette, AL; three special nieces, Tiaschia Beaty and Angela Beaty of Opelika, AL. and Shirley (Michael) Jones of Salem, AL; a devoted friend, Johnny Houston of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
