During his child-rearing, he was very active in basketball, baseball, and football. He played in the Lamar County Recreation Department until graduation. He sought employment with various companies, including Ready Pac, IPM, CJ Logistics, and MFI. He also worked under the leadership of his grandfather, Mr. James White, at Milner Car Wash. Joshua was fun, loving, and always kept a smile on his face. He was also very caring to his family. He was full of laughter and well-mannered. On October 25, 2022, the gates of Heaven opened and Joshua took his heavenly flight. He was preceded in death by his three children, Josiah, Jocayion, and Janiyah; grandmother, Ms. Jeanette Lumpkin; and grandfather, James White, Sr.
Joshua leaves a legacy that will live on in the hearts of: his loving parents, Mrs. Patricia (Joston) Banks and Mr. Marcus (Ya’Shica) Zellner; three sisters, Ms. Monica Zellner, Rylan Zellner, and Harlan Zellner; stepsister, Brittany Welch; nephew he loved as his own, Kel’Moni Carter; stepbrothers, Mr. Javarri Banks, Mr. Jalen Banks, Jarmarcus Johnson, and Antonio Tanner; grandmother, Coral Roxanne Camp/Zellner; two godaunts, Brittany Walker and Janee Walker; two grandmothers, Ms. Jean White and Janice Sullivan (Kenneth) English; grandfather, Mr. Robert Lee Zellner; aunts, Ms. Katherine White and Tiffany Zellner; six uncles, Mr. Chad Zellner, Mr. Patrick Zellner, Mr. Willie White, Mr. Warren (Tory) Johnson, Quincey Zellner, and Kenny Richardson; god-grandmother, Gwen Grier; dear friends, Kevin Carter, Ja-Marr Simpson, Calvin Dewberry, Courtney Ponder, and Shambria Gamble; a special dear cousin that grew up as his sister, Kawanna Davis; Walter Ogletree, a special friend that was dedicated to Joshua; and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and many dear friends who will have fond memories of Joshua.
