Genaro Contreras Cruz, 35, of New Bern died Sunday, October 23, 2022 at CarolinaEast Medial Center.

His funeral Mass will be 9:30 AM Friday, November 4, 2022 at St. Paul Catholic Church 3005 Country Club Rd. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at 4:30 PM.

He is survived by his parents, Esteban Contreras Cruz and Ma Juana Cruz Garcia of Mexico; one son, Genaro Contreras Cruz of New Bern; three daughters, Monserrat Contreras Cruz, Ashley Contreras both of New Bern and Estefania Contreras; three brothers, Isaac Contreras, Jacob Contreras and Esteban Contreras all of New Bern; one sister, Loida Contreras of San Luis, Mexico.
