Bessie Hugh Godette, 74, of Beaufort, NC, passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Crystal Bluffs Rehabilitation Center. She is the Sister of the Late Doris Godette - Hill - Carter of Kilmarnock, VA.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, November 6, at Bridgeway Church of Beaufort, NC, Burial will follow at Oceanview Cemetery.

She is survived by two brothers; Matthew Godette Sr. and wife, Marian of Sulfolk, VA, and Melton Godette of Detroit, MI; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Matthew Littleton Godette and Cornelia Stanley and Sister Doris Godette Hill Carter.
