Ms. Takkia “Ki Ki” Dawkins

Ms. Takkia Sierra Dawkins was born in Dillon, SC. Kiki, as she was affectionately known, attended Lake View High School and graduated in 2003 with honors. Kiki joined Poplar Creek Baptist Church at an early age. Kiki began studying nursing at ECPI University where she was expected to graduate in June 2023. While attending ECPI, Kiki worked hard and made the dean's list. To know Kiki is to love Kiki. Kiki could be described by those who knew her as being outspoken, caring, dedicated, intelligent and HAD TO HAVE THE LAST WORD! Those who knew her, knew that she was a die-hard Kobe Bryant fan. Preceding her in death is her grandmother Rachel Dawkins, grandfather Johnnie Dawkins and one uncle Ira Thompson, and two aunts Dianne Isbell and Mary Dawkins, great aunts Marjorie Pollard, Lucy Evans, Landa Gaddy. Kiki will be remembered and forever loved by her three daughters: Aiesha Dawkins, Nevaeh Dawkins, and Paris Dawkins of the home; her mother and father Cynthia and Paul Thompson of Lake View, SC; her dad Lonzo Isbell of Fairmont, NC; grandmother Doris Caroline Thompson of Lake View, SC; two sisters, Kimberly Dawkins of Lake View, SC and Dorissa (Ricky) Thompson of Lexington, SC; two brothers Paul Thompson of Fairmont, NC and Rusty Dawkins of Lake View, SC; nieces and nephews, Kyrie Dawkins, Rusty Dawkins Jr, Rayquan Dawkins, Rymere Dawkins, Rylan Dawkins, Bryson Dawkins, Meziah Thompson, Amaya Short, Jayde Dawkins; three great uncles; Thurston (Annie)Baker, Ricky (Loris) Baker, Louis (Evon) Baker, five great-aunts; Katie Faye McNeil, Nina Faye McNeil, Mary Louise McNeil, Judy (Marvin Pete) Chandler, Patricia Baker; five aunts, Nissa (Marcel) Bethea, Connie (Terry) Cribb, and Sandra Thompson all of Lake View, SC; Dorothy Isbell of Dillon, SC, Donna Sue Isbell of Dillon, SC; seven uncles, Milton (Faye) Dawkins of High Point, NC, Terry Dawkins of Lake View, SC, Clarence (Gloria) Dawkins of Dillon, SC, Ryan (Detrice) Dawkins of Dillon, SC. Kiki had a nephew and cousin whom she claimed as her own, Shaheed Dawkins and Anaija Bethea. She will be sorely missed by her best friend Jessica Brunson and her ECPI classmates. Kiki enjoyed discussing all things Kobe Bryant and Tom Brady. Kiki loved her family, friends, and people, especially her children. She was so generous with her family, friends, and everyone she met. She was always offering help, hope, and healing to people facing various challenges. Kiki, all who know you, will miss your beautiful smile, outspokenness, and helping hand, which were all character traits that set you apart from others and endeared you to many. We will deeply miss you, but we will forever cherish many wonderful memories. Enjoy being in Heaven in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ.
