PUBLIC VISITATION for Mr. Sammie Corder was Monday, November 21, 2022 from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m. at Lavender's Funeral Service.

THE HOME GOING CELEBRATION HONORING THE LIFE & LEGACY of Mr. Sammie Corder of Columbus, Mississippi was Tuesday, November 22, 2022, 11:00 a.m. in the James & Lola Lavender Memorial Chapel of Lavender’s Funeral Service, 11233 Highway 17 South, Aliceville, Alabama.The body of Mr. Corder was in state in the chapel one hour prior to the service.

INTERMENT was in Old Bethany Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, 4425 Vienna River Road in Aliceville, Alabama. Reverend Dr. Tremaine Davis, Pastor of First United Cumberland Presbyterian Church In America in Birmingham, Alabama was The Eulogist.

FOR THE HEALTH & SAFETY OF EVERYONE MASK WEARING WAS REQUIRED. SEATING WAS LIMITED.

Individuals who are immune compromised, elderly, at high risk for severe illness, or currently ill were encouraged to remain at home.
