Homegoing Services for Mrs. Shirley Evans, of Decatur, will be held Saturday, November 5, 2022, 1:00 P.M. at The Chapel of Donald Trimble Mortuary. Elder Terrance Maeberry, Chaplain, Officiating. Interment, South-View Cemetery, Atlanta, GA.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Lewis Evans, Sr.; great granddaughter, Anaya McClain; her parents Abraham and Naomi Burke; and her siblings, Francine, Eldoris, Eloise, Clyde, Hubbard, Johnny and Tommalee. She leaves to cherish her children, Charlene Evans, Carolyn Evans, Sheryl Montgomery, Victoria Gaston, Lewis Evans, Jr., Angela Evans, James Evans; her daughter-in-law, Renee Evans; son in-laws, Geodfrey Gaston, and William Montgomery; her grandchildren, Scott Evans, Mercedes Evans, Terry Bridges, II, Gerald Benton, Nicholas Evans, Deon Evans, Janay Hawkins, Mayah Hawkins, and Tanna Evans; her great grandchildren, Jackson McClain, and Aria Good; as well as a host of other family and friends that loved her dearly. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the mortuary Saturday, at 12:30 P.M.
