MRS. ERSELL ELAINE BULLOCK-DREUITT, daughter of the late Thomas C. Bullock, Sr. and the late Bernice Meredith Bullock was born November 27, 1954 in Mecklenburg County, VA and departed this life October 21, 2022 in the Wonder City Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Hopewell, VA. She was also preceded in death by her twin sister, Eunice Bullock; two brothers- Charles Meredith and Calvin Bullock; great-nephew, John Kinnel, Jr. “Booty” and great-great-nephew, Malik Pearson, Jr.

At an early age she attended Bethel Memorial RZUA Church. She attended William Penn and Strawberry Manson High School, Philadelphia, PA.

Ersell was employed as a Correction Officer while living in Philadelphia and after moving back to Virginia she was employed at LaCrosse Elementary School in the cafeteria and an attendant at Feggins Funeral Home.

In 1979 she was married to Andre Dreuitt. Ersell later became disabled. She loved to be with family, especially the grandchildren. She adored painting by numbers and riding out with Michelle.

Ersell leaves to mourn her husband, Andre Dreuitt, Philadelphia, PA; four children- Tamika (David) Brooks, Boydton, VA; Tech Sgt. Edward “Eddie” Bullock, Chesapeake, VA; Brittany Bullock, Lawrenceville, VA and Nottia Bullock, Emporia, VA; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother- Thomas (Stella) Bullock, South Hill, VA; sister- Gloria Jean (Johnny) Kinnel, Mt. Holly, New Jersey; 5 sisters-in-law, Lavern Meredith, Crewe, VA; Jane, Janice, and Stephanie Dreuitt, all Philadelphia, PA and Gwen Dreuitt of Georgia; brother-in-law, Wayne Dreuitt, Philadelphia, PA; numerous step-children; God Mother- Mary Peace, Philadelphia, PA; God Sisters- Lafaya Peace and Royanda Edwards, both of Philadelphia, PA; God Brother- Melvyn Bryant, California; special and devoted loving friends-Michelle Denise Bullock (Her Road Dog); Lottie Feggins Harrison(best friend), and Ernest Brown; devoted and loving niece- Janet “SueAnn” Bullock, great-nephew, Antowan Edmonds, and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
