Velma Jean Young, 72 passed Wednesday, November 2, 2022 in Clover, South Carolina. She was the wife of the late James Young. She was born in Center, Texas to Milton Moore and Revatta Sanders on May 12, 1950.

She was a loving wife, an amazing mother, a dedicated sister, a devoted grandmother and faithful friend.

Among those who will cherish her life, and preserve her legacy are her two daughters, Kassandre Harper-Cotton (Fredrick) and Sarina Harmon (Charles), one son Raymond Robinson Jr.; three grandchildren Davis Harper-Cotton, Jaedan Harmon and Marcus Robinson along with a host of siblings, nephews, nieces cousins and friends.

Graveside Services are 2:00 Monday, November 7, 2022 at Lancaster Memorial Park Cemetery, Lancaster, South Carolina by Reverend Nicholas Clanton.
