Daryl Eugene Smith, son of Elizabeth J. Smith and the late Willie Bryson, was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

He received his formal education in the Harrisburg Public School District and graduated from the former William Penn High School. During his working career, he worked numerous jobs and owned a carpet cleaning business. He also had a safe serve certification in culinary.

Daryl enjoyed spending time with his children. He also enjoyed photography and yard sales. In his leisure, he loved visiting family and friends. He was also studying to be an Israelite.

On Friday, October 28, 2022, Daryl Eugene Smith entered into eternal life peacefully at The Gardens of Camp Hill Rehabilitation Center in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.

In addition to his father, Daryl was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Smith. He leaves to celebrate his life his children, Derrick Coleman, Dante Holland, Sharita Smith, Keith McWhite, Wesley Drayton, Jamar Auter, Anthony Baskerville, Naja Ray, Daryl Smith, Jr., Quaran Smith, Jacob and Darren Smith; his mother, Elizabeth Smith; his eight siblings, Darlene Smith, Robert Smith, Keith, Charlene, Moses, Edward Smith, Wanda Nordt and Mary Thomas; 17 grandchildren, one great granddaughter and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

His life will be celebrated on Thursday, November 10 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton, with visitation from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
