Obituary For Clara Elizabeth Brim Moore

Clara Elizabeth Moore, 82, of Martinsville, VA passed Thursday, November 10, 2022. NO public viewing.The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm – 1:00 p.m., Friday, November 18, 2022, at Refuge Temple Holiness Church, Martinsville, VA with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Internment will follow in Hamlin Cemetery, Eden, NC.

Elizabeth Brim Moore was born to the Rev. Carl & Temple Jane Brim of Fieldale, VA.

She retired as a caregiver after many years of dedicated service to her clients. Sister Clara was a loyal and devoted member of Refuge Temple Church, Martinsville, VA. She also loved spending time with her family.

She was married to the late Robert Lee Moore of Madison, NC and to that union, three sons and two daughters was born. Mary Matkins Carter and Elizabeth Moore Shelton both of Martinsville, VA, Robert Junior Moore of Madison, NC, Everett Lee Moore, James Henry Moore of Martinsville, Va. She went on to have two more sons with, James U. Fleet which were; William Arthur Moore of Reidsville, NC and Howard Earl Moore of Stoneville, NC.

She was also preceded in death by her son; Everett Lee Moore and three brothers; Allen, Grady and Matthew Brim and sisters, Mary Jane Brim Taylor, Shirley Brim Wade and Beatrice Brim and nephew James Taylor of Martinsville, VA.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Gorge Edward dotson of the home, two sisters, six children, 23 grandchildren, as well as a host of other family members. She was blessed to see 5 generations of her own.
