Obituary For LaShonda Dewberry

( March 8, 1982 -- November 3, 2022 )

TYLER--Funeral services for Mrs. LaShonda Dewberry, 40, of Tyler, Texas will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2922 at 1 p.m. The service will be held at New Beginnings Church of God in Christ with Supt. R. L. Dewberry Jr. serving as eulogist. Burial will follow in Hopewell Community Cemetery under the direction of John R. Harmon Undertaking Company.

Mrs. Dewberry was born on March 8, 1982 in Dallas, Texas and transitioned on November 3, 2022 at her residence in Tyler, Texas.

LaShonda graduated from South Oak Cliff High School and was a former member of Marsalis Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. She was a resident of Smith County for five plus years and became a member of Gentry Temple Church of God in Christ under the leadership of her father-in-law, Supt. R.L. Dewberry Jr. Mrs. Dewberry was employed as a Financial Administrator for Collections Management Credit Company.

LaShonda was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Eugene and Loretta Hubbard and her uncle, Richard Manning. Her memories will be cherished in the hearts of her spouse: Robert Dewberry III of Tyler, Texas; Son: Robert Dewberry IV, Daughters: Sharetta Dewberry and I'Rhana Dewberry and Grandson: Josiah Dewberry, all of Tyler, Texas. Parents: Matthew and Sharon Carr both of Dallas, Texas. Brothers: Kerwin (Crystal ) Hubbard of Wiley and Edward (Laquita )Carr of Plano; Sister: LaTina Hubbard of Dallas and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be Friday, November 11, 2022 from 2 pm to 8 pm at the funeral home.
