Obituary For Sam Goins

Sam Goins, Jr. "Peewee" was born July 8, 1965, to Sam Goins and Gladys Goins.

Sam attended Brooks County High School. He enjoyed working as a security guard for DSI. He enjoyed playing basketball. Sam departed this life on October 24, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his father Sam Goins Sr., his sister Shirley Graham, nephew Lonnie King, grandparents and several aunts and uncles.

Sam leaves to cherish his memories his mother Gladys Goins; his brothers and sisters, Delois Goins Haynes, Lee Goins (Diane), Michael Goins (Sonja) and Roselyn Gipson (Bruce); one aunt Mattie Miller, two uncles Ozell Staten (Dorothy) and Floyd Lee Daniels (Emma) and host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and host of cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 3P.M. at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Pavo, Georgia. Visitation is Friday, 1PM - 7PM at the Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home. Visit this website or our Stevens-McGhee Funeral Home Facebook page to view a livestream of the celebration on Saturday.
