Melton “Tony” Ayers, 62, passed Friday, November 11, 2022 at his home.

Tony was born in Tryon, NC on July 14, 1960, a son of Leroy and Jean (Suddeth) Ayers.

He grew up in Inman and was an Alumni of Chapman High School. Tony was a Carpenter by trade, loved fishing and his garden and was of the baptist faith.

Left to cherish his memory are his three daughters Heather Landrum (Fred), Jennifer Eubanks, Staci Greene (Jimi), one sister Tammy Robinson (Curtis), 6 grandchildren, Danielle Suttle (Daniel), Blake Eubanks, Cooper Eubanks, Jaxson Greene, Dalton Greene. He was also predeceased by a grandson, Mason Davis.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Field of Dreams, 92 Lake Lyman Heights, Lyman SC 29365. Following the memorial service the family will be at the home of the daughter Staci Greene, 140 James Ave, Wellford SC 29385.
